Storm Dance

-Storm Dance-

I have rediscovered the elation,

Of embracing the dance in the storm;

Of overcoming the things,

I thought couldn’t be borne.

I have rediscovered the power,

And the strength within me;

Nothing will hold me back,

From who I wish to be.

I have reclaimed my divine femininity,

My passion, my fire, my grace;

You can see the fire burn within,

For it shines upon my face.

I’m dancing once again,

Caught up in a trance:

It’s heady and freeing,

If you just give it a chance.

Get out of my way,

As I continue to soar higher;

It’s a good thing that it’s raining,

Or I’d set the world on fire.
